I asked the Father to reveal His will concerning the book, Amen, and the House in the Hamlet. The Lord was standing before the Heavenly Council and bade me join Him there. He spoke to one of the angels saying that I had come seeking direction and he was to take me into the presence of the Father. After we left the Council, we stepped into a vast expanse with nothing visible to the eye whatsoever. Shafts of light were glancing off what appeared to be prisms and I saw we were standing in an enormous vaulted chamber of pure crystal. Its walls reached as far as the eye could see narrowing to a point at its peak. I heard the voice of the Father commanding the angel to bring a little white pillow and to set it down on the crystal foundation. As he set it down, I was told to sit on the little while pillow. With a start, I realized that we were in Timelessness, with Time directly below. I looked down and saw all of creation. My heart filled with sadness. Two large tears fell from my eyes, forming a little pool of water. Suddenly the chamber was filled with the awesome presence of the Father. He bade the angel to wipe up the little pool of tears with a very soft white cloth. Though I saw no figure, there appeared a mighty right hand holding the little book, Amen. The book was glowing as though a fire burned within. I stared at the book and said not a word. The Father spoke, "The book you see is a living book for it contains the words spoken by My only Son. Because it contains the words spoken by My only Son, it has great power." He called forth another angel, a cherubim, and told him to take me to Paradise that I might know His Holy Will concerning the book. The cherubim took me high into the heavens until we were standing directly over the Holy City, the City that I had seen before, the City that had caused me to weep for no one had been worthy to enter its gate. We then entered a high vaulted chamber like the one that was above Time. This one was smaller and was resting on the earth. The City stood to the north of the chamber. A multitude of people were standing to the south of the chamber. They were the same ones who had stood in the sphere. "What are they doing there?" I asked the cherubim. "They have just arrived," he answered. "They have been before the Great Throne of Judgment, each in his own turn. The Judgment is now complete. The full number has arrived." "What happened to the others who were not in the sphere?" I asked. He pointed toward the west. I looked in the direction he was pointing and saw the Great Throne of Judgment. No one was seated there. Beyond the vacant Throne, I saw all those who had not entered the sphere. There was a very steep precipice and one by one, they disappeared over it. When the last one was gone from view, a high wall of light appeared, sealing off the precipice and all beyond. The cherubim then took me high up on a mountain. It was the same mountain where the little brown jug had been. He started down the steep descent and I followed. We came to the bottom of the mountain and crossed through the water of the oasis I had seen before. The Lord was standing there and acknowledged our passing, but the cherubim continued walking and I followed. We came to the house in the hamlet and we stopped. The cherubim was holding the little book, Amen, and it was glowing just as it had glowed when the Father had held it. I could see it had great power. I said not a word. He said, "The power contained within the book is the same power which shall enable you to fulfill the Father's will. His will for you shall be brought to pass in this house. He shall give you this house for He will be in debt to no man. The power of the Holy Spirit shall bring all things to pass. "Who conceived the Holy Son of God within mortal woman?" "The Holy Spirit." I answered. "Understand that it is the Holy Spirit of God who is the POWER of life. You have been shown that all of life comes from the Thought of the Father and the Word of the Son. Do you not know that it is the Spirit who brings it to completion? It is He who brings the Thought and the Word to its intended fulfillment. It is He who has conceived the book within your being, and it is He who shall bring it to fulfillment. Just as the seed is nourished until it can reproduce itself, so have you nourished the words until they can reproduce themselves. Just as the power of the seed to reproduce itself lies within the seed itself, so does the power of the words lie within themselves. "Look once more upon those within the chamber." Suddenly we were standing outside the chamber and I saw those who were waiting inside. I was standing just outside the sphere holding the book. When the full number had been reached, I was told to hand the book to one who was waiting inside. He took it from my hand and turned to face those within the sphere. "What does that mean?" I asked the angel. "It means that the book is the Word of the Lord. It represents the Living Bread which provides nourishment to the entire body." I came before the Lord. "Lord," I said, "I now understand the purpose of the book and that I need not concern myself as to its intent. But I still do not understand about the house in the hamlet." The Lord appeared and we started walking slowly until we came to the house. It was sitting within a teardrop! Directly below the drop was a ring of fire. I saw that the two angels I had seen before were holding flaming swords and it was this that caused the ring of fire. I looked up and saw the teardrop was held firmly in the grasp of the Lord's right hand. Then a great flood came upon the earth and I could see it meant to extinguish the ring of fire so that the waters could wash away the teardrop and it would be no more. But the fire swallowed up the flood waters and not a trace remained. Fiery darts were flying swiftly toward the drop intending to pierce it, thereby exposing the house that it might be consumed by the fires. But the teardrop quenched the fiery darts as they fell to the earth and not one remained. A great wind arose in an attempt to dislodge the drop from the hand of the Lord so that the house might be blown away. But the Hand of the Lord stilled the winds and not even a breeze stirred. The teardrop, the ring of fire and the hand of the Lord stood perfectly still. "What does this mean?" I asked with astonishment. "Understand," said the Lord, "that the ways of the Father are so above your ways that He must reveal the marvels of the Kingdom through parables and pictures which will bring some measure of understanding to the heart. You have been shown many wonders, but even these are but shadows of what is yet to come. When you seek to record all that has been shown to you, do you find that all the words at your disposal are inadequate to describe that which you have seen?" "Oh yes, that is so! There are no words..." "If there are no words to describe what you have seen only dimly, think of what it would be if you were able to see clearly. But the mortal mind cannot see clearly the Immortal Mind. Because of the great mercy and love of the Father, He reveals His gracious and holy Will in ways that the mortal mind can best comprehend His awesome Grace. He uses the things of this world which are dear and familiar to help better understand the ways of the Father. Because of all that you have seen, are you not learning to trust that your heart may be stayed in joyful expectation of what is yet to come?" "Yes, that is so. It is the desire of my heart that we might all learn to trust." "Now I shall explain the meaning of the house in the hamlet. I have recorded in my My Word that there are many mansions in My Father's House and that I go to prepare a place for all those who love Him. No eye has ever seen nor ear ever heard that which the Father has prepared for those who love Him. As the time for fulfillment draws near and I prepare the Heavenly Mansion, so must those on earth prepare the Earthly Mansion. The earthly mansion is My Church. I would not have My people unaware of the approaching Hour. "Therefore, while the Heavenly Mansion is being prepared unseen by mortal eye, so shall I allow an earthly mansion to be prepared that may be seen by mortal eye. So shall My people know that I prepare to come." "What has this to do with the house in the hamlet?" I asked. "My Church stands on the solid foundation which is Truth. Does the house in the hamlet stand on a firm foundation?" "It does." "My Church is protected by the knowledge of My Word which was represented by sturdy walls. Does the house in the hamlet have sturdy walls?" "It does." "My church is filled with confusion and strife at this time. It was represented by a solid mass in continual motion without seeming order. Does the house in the hamlet have many rooms where much has been begun, but nothing completed so that there is great chaos within?" "It does." "The house in the hamlet represents the condition of My Church and is a sign of the times. As you and your husband prepare to restore the house making it a place of beauty, so must My Church prepare herself, making the Bride a Bride of great beauty. As My Bride prepares herself, so am I preparing the Heavenly Mansion to receive My Bride. "As you prepare to paint that My people might see Me, so am I preparing to come that they might truly see Me. I came before the Lord. "Lord," I asked, "If we are meant to do as You say, to restore the house as a place of beauty, how are we to accomplish this for we do not have the means to do so?" I saw the Holy Spirit leaving the presence of the Father holding a document in His hands. He stood before me and indicated that I should look to my left. When I did so, I saw the Lord seated at the end of a long tunnel of light. He rose and walked toward us. With the Lord to my right and the Spirit to my left, we walked slowly upward until we were standing in the presence of the Father. The lord asked,"What does My Word say about the Kingdom of Heaven?" I thought a moment and answered, "Your Word says many things concerning the Kingdom of Heaven. The first one that comes to mind is 'He that overcometh shall inherit all things and I will be his God and he shall be My son.'" "What does it mean to inherit?" He asked. "To inherit means to receive a legacy from an ancestor or a predecessor," I answered. "For you to inherit all things you must first overcome, must you not? That is the Scripture you quoted. Do you understand what it is you must overcome?" "Tell me, Lord." "You must overcome lack of trust." The Holy Spirit stepped forward and handed me the document He had been holding. "Why, it's a will leaving the house in the hamlet to my husband and me!" I cried. "Lord," I said, "At last I understand some of Your teachings. I understand that all the things You have shown me have been heavenly visions using earthly representations. I understand that the mortal mind cannot grasp the ways of the Immortal Mind. But can You show me how all of this will come to pass? How the Church will prepare herself?" Suddenly I was standing in the high place where I could see heaven and earth at the same time. I looked upon the Nature of God and the desire of His heart going forth and resting on those who were standing on earth. His desire passed through His people and returned back to the Father, completing a cycle. "This is the fulfillment of prayer," said the Lord. "If this the fulfillment of prayer," I asked, "Why is there such chaos on earth?" "You are watching fulfillment which has not yet been attained. Look upon the hearts of those praying and you will understand." I saw the prayers of His people rising before the Throne of God. But they were praying without asking the Father what HIS desire was. Their prayers were originating from their own desires. When their desires were one with the Father's, the cycle was completed. But if it was not the same as the Father's, the cycle could not be completed. "What are they to do?" I asked. "They must ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to them the Father's desire and make it their own." "But how are they to do this?" "Do you not yet understand that it is the Holy Spirit of God who is the POWER of creation? He is also the power of RE-creation. He alone knows the perfect will of the Father at all times. He alone has the power to bring about the Father's will. Therefore, My people must ask the Spirit to reveal the will of the Father that He might bring it to pass. He stands ever yearning to do so. The purpose of all prayer is to restore the creation to its ultimate perfection as ordained by the Father. The restored re-creation is My Church." "If only the Spirit of God knows the perfect will of God, and if only the Spirit of God can bring about the fulfillment of God's will, what is the use of our prayers?" "Because it the SPEAKING which comes together with the Father's desire that activates the power of the Spirit who then brings it to pass. Without the speaking, it cannot come to pass. Just as the Thought cannot come to pass but that The Word speak the Thought, it cannot come to pass either. Man, created in Our image, must also speak to bring it to its fulfillment. This is the law of prayer. When My people have learned to make their desire at one with the Father's, then shall fulfillment come." "Gentle Holy Spirit," I said, "Teach me how to pray." The Holy Spirit left the Being of the Father, descended to where I was kneeling, passed through my being and returned to the Father. Night after night, the cycle was the same. Finally He appeared before me holding three petitions in His hand. As before, He indicated that I should look to my left. And there was the Lord seated at the end of the tunnel of light. The Lord rose and joined us. We entered the presence of the Father and the Holy Spirit said that I should tell the Father that I was holding the three petitions He had given me. The Lord nodded and I spoke the first request aloud, "Father, I ask that the Woman of Grace be made to prosper." The Father received it and it went forth immediately. "Pray the second request," said the Spirit. I prayed the second request aloud, "Father, I ask that the Bride, the woman who sits upon the white steed waiting, fulfill Your most holy will." The Father received it, but it did not go forth. "Why does the prayer not go forth? I asked. "I prayed it just as I had been told!" "She is not yet ready," answered the Spirit. "The desire of her heart is not yet one with the Father's. She is not yet willing to relinquish her right to be right. The prayer shall go forth in due time. Pray the third request." I prayed the third one aloud, "Father, I ask that the one who is to enter the sphere before all others be healed and made whole." The Father received it but it did not go forth. "Why didn't this one go forth either?" I cried. "Because he does not yet fully believe. Healing and wholeness cannot come to pass without belief. It shall go forth in due time." Some time ago, I had seen three words which were written on a book lying on an altar. The words were Believe, Love and Obey. I asked the Holy Spirit, "Are these three prayer requests representing those words?" "Yes," He answered, "They represent the words, for without belief, love and obedience it is impossible to fulfill the will of the Father. When you see the fulfillment of these requests coming to pass, you shall know the time is nigh." The Lord was seated at the end of the tunnel of light I had seen before. He beckoned me to come sit with him. I took a place by His side and we sat facing the opening of the tunnel. Shadows of people passed across the opening. Then I saw the Woman of Grace. She will filled with excitement, eyes sparkling with joy, rushing to and fro until her arms were laden with gifts which she placed at the opening. Then she was gone. People passed once more. And there was the Bride. Her face was filled with the beauty of serenity. Then she was gone. Others passed by, when I saw the one who was to enter the sphere before all others. His eyes were filled with tears. "I have been healed and made whole," he said. Then he was gone. "You have just shown me the fulfillment of the prayer requests, haven't You, Lord?" "Yes. What did they have in common?" '"Why, they were all filled with great gratitude!" The Holy Spirit continued to teach me how to pray. Each night He would bring a request. "Father," I prayed, "I ask that Your holy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." The next night, I prayed, "Father I ask that You give us our daily bread." The third night when I prayed, "I ask that You forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us," I realized that He was teaching me to pray the Lord's prayer! "You are telling me to pray the prayer that the Lord taught His disciples!" I said to the Holy Spirit.. "Yes. It is the perfect prayer to bring forth the fulfillment of the Father's will. The prayer must not be taken lightly." I saw the sphere, which is the Lord's Church, and the Holy Spirit was teaching her how to pray. The Holy Spirit was carrying the requests that came from the Father's Throne and brought them to His people. The prayers went forth unceasingly until the sphere was encircled by a band of prayers which no thing could penetrate. "Your church is praying in the will of the Father!" I said. "She is preparing herself! What will happen next and how will it come about?" The Lord appeared. "You understand that I am the Bridegroom and My Church is the Bride." "Yes, Lord. I understand." "Recall the teaching of how all the ills of mankind are caused by fear, hate and guilt. I had shown you how the perfect relationship that had existed between man and woman was destroyed when they disobeyed. "In the beginning when man offered his love and it was rejected, his love turned to hate. The hate was brought about by the fear that filled his heart when his love was rejected and he did not know what to do. Man represents the creation filled with hate. "In the beginning when woman spurned man's love to seek new ways, her heart was filled with guilt for she knew she had disobeyed. Woman represents the creation filled with guilt. "Fear became their common enemy - his fear was that his love would be rejected, her fear that she would no longer be loved. "Man and woman now stand separated by a platform with a great distance between them, the platform representing fear. If the woman approaches the platform, her desire being to restore the relationship, she may stand on the platform and her fear will disappear. But she may not go beyond it for she cannot receive the love and return it simultaneously. She must first receive it before being able to return it. "If the man approaches the platform, his desire being to restore the relationship, he may stand on it and his fear will disappear. But he may not go beyond it for he cannot offer love and have it returned simultaneously. He must first offer it then wait for it to be returned. "If the man and woman approach the platform of fear with equal desire to restore the relationship, the relationship will be restored. "I represent man offering love, not as mortal man offers - withdrawing it when it is not returned, but as the Father offers it, never wavering nor diminishing nor making any demands. When My Church rejects My love, I still stand firm, ever waiting. But just as man cannot pass beyond the platform, so neither can I. I must wait for the woman's desire, My Church, to be the same as Mine. When this is her desire, then will she become My Bride and all shall be fulfilled. I was thinking about all of the things the Lord had said when a very ancient man appeared before me. "Who are you?" I asked. "My name is Melchizedek," he answered. "Melchizedek, the High Priest?" I asked. "The same," he answered. "Why have you appeared before me?:" "I have come to explain the difference between sacrifice and offering." Suddenly we were high above creation. I saw Time divided into three sections. The first section held an altar. The second section held a cross. The third section held a cup. "What is the meaning of the three sections and the three objects?" I asked. "Each section represents a period of time. Each object represents the significance of that time. The altar represents the 'Day of Sacrifice'. The cross represents the 'Day of the Acceptable Sacrifice'. The cup represents the 'Day of Offering'. "The first section represents the period of time when it was necessary for the people to have a priest who stood as a representative before God because of the people's sin. During this period of 'Day of Sacrifice', it was necessary for the priest to sacrifice slain animals time after time as a constant reminder to the people that it was their sin which separated them from God, to point to their need for purging the sin by shed blood. "The second section represents the period of time when the Perfect, Acceptable Sacrifice was accomplished. The altar was replaced by the cross so that man must no longer presume any other sacrifice is acceptable in the sight of the Father. For man to presume such a thing is to presume the Acceptable Sacrifice was not complete. The Acceptable Sacrifice was the Son of God who perfectly fulfilled the Father's will, eliminating the need for sacrifice for all time. "The third section represents the period of time when the Lord Himself offers the way to the Father. He holds the Cup of Salvation in His hand inviting all to drink of the cup. "The Lord's Church has not clearly understood the significance of the Day of Offering for she attempts to combine it with the Day of Sacrifice. For this reason is she filled with confusion and strife. She still believes that sacrifices are acceptable in the sight of the Father. It is this arrogance which fills her with conflict. She does not yet understand that the day will come, indeed, is already at hand when the Lord shall remove the cup. It is the cup to which Daniel refers when he says, 'From the time that the continual burnt offering is taken away...." For the burnt offering is the Lord. When the cup is removed, than shall 'the abomination that makes desolate' be set up. "The Lord's Church must learn to understand the true meaning of the 'Day of Offering'. When she has done so, she will then be ready to present herself to the Lord without spot or wrinkle. I was invited to appear before the Heavenly Council. There was a vacant place in the second row and the Lord bade me sit there. "Why am I being invited to join the Heavenly Council?" I asked. The Lord answered, "Angels were created for the purpose of obeying the Father and to do His bidding without question. I shall ask you a question. Think carefully before answering. I have been speaking to you for some time. At times, it was to teach you. At other times, it was to ask your obedience. Had you considered your acts of obedience as a sacrifice?" This thought had never entered my mind, so I considered carefully before responding. "No, Lord. I had never considered my acts of obedience as sacrificial. I had not even thought of them as acts of obedience! I just wanted to please You and thank You for what You had shown me." "And for this reason are you invited to sit in the Heavenly Council. For this reason were you able to hear My voice. Melchizedek had explained that this is the 'Day of Offering'. Therefore, only those who no longer attempt to combine the arrogance of sacrifice with the purity of offering can hear My voice." "Lord," I asked, "I understand that all You have shown me is only part of a Great Plan. What do I represent in this Plan?" "You represent a 'willing martyr', not a suffering martyr. The willing martyr offers his life to Me. The suffering martyr sacrifices his life for all. There has only been one suffering martyr. I am the Suffering Martyr. "Lord," I said, "I understand that it is the gentle Holy Spirit who teaches us how to pray and who leads us into all truth. I understand that we have not recognized the difference between sacrifice and offering. I understand that the Bride must prepare herself. But my heart is filled with sadness, for as I look about, I see nothing but confusion and strife. Man is set against man, and they seem not to care for one another. And the hardness of his heart is sad to behold. It seems they do not care about preparing themselves that You might take Your Bride to Yourself." The Lord answered, "Man strives alone, but it need not be. He has been equipped with gifts to help him achieve his purpose. All gifts that come from the Father are living gifts. Since the gifts have life within themselves they come to the aid of man, enabling him to accomplish the Father's will. The gifts and the ones to whom the gifts are given by the Holy Spirit are given that they might work together to fulfill their combined purposes. Their purposes are to build the Living Church." "How is each man to know what his gift is that he might work toward building the living Church?" "He must ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the gift and to receive it from His hand. But the desire of his heart must be to accomplish his task according to the will of the Father. If his desire is to follow the ways of man, he cannot receive his gift." "What do You mean by the ways of man?" I asked. "Man's way is to judge the value of a gift by its cost, thereby esteeming one man's gift more highly than another's. Yet, regardless of its cost, man's gift does not contain life. It is man's measure by which he judges the worth of other men and since it does not contain life, it can only lead to death. The Father's way is to judge the value of a gift according to its contribution toward the building of the Church. "Since the Father's gifts contain life, they lead to more abundant life and on to eternal life. Every living gift will also yield much living fruit as well. As the living gifts yield much fruit, so do the fruits contain life. This is what is meant by the more abundant life. The life of the gift gives forth life of the fruit and so is greatly increased. The fruits - love, peace, joy contain life within themselves. Love contains the very life of love and accomplishes its own purpose. Peace contains the very life of peace and accomplishes its own purpose. Joy contains the very life of joy and accomplishes its own purpose. If My people will put aside their own desires and seek diligently to build My Church, the living gifts and the living fruits will come to their aid." I saw the Lord dressed in dazzling white raiment seated on His massive white steed. Behind Him was a myriad of angels. The Lord and all the hosts were holding flaming torches high above their heads in their right hands. I heard the name of the torches. They were called, "The Fire that Burns But Does Not Consume". The Lord commanded the hosts of heaven to go forth into the world and to place their flaming torches firmly in the midst of every city, town and hamlet. The did as they were bidden. When all the torches were in place, I saw the words, 'The Word of God' burning brightly within each flame. People passed by the torches and looked in wonder, for the flames could not be quenced. Word passed from person to person until all came to see the fires that burned but did not consume. Then I saw one man holding a torch standing in front of the sphere so that all those who were entering could see clearly. "Are Your people about to enter?" I asked the Lord. "Yes. They are about to enter for darkness covers the earth. The terrible cloud of darkness has covered the earth and the people are unaware. It is time to call My people out from the darkness. When they are secure, then shall I follow with My armies of heaven pushing back the terrible cloud but the people shall still be unaware...all except those who are Mine. They shall know. When the cloud has been pushed from the earth, then will all men see Me! My coming will seem to have come in an instant but that will be because the darkness shall obscure My face no more. Than shall I stand in all My Glory and every eye shall behold the glorious Son of God." Uriel appeared. "I have come to reveal the Man of Sin." he said. "Why did you not reveal him before this?" I asked. "Because I did not know before. We see events unfold even as you. But now I see the great figure of darkness. He has handed his scepter to one on earth. The people of the Lord must prepare themselves. The time of vengeance has come." I was standing before the Throne of God. I heard these words, "Go with Gabriel and gather the words you have recorded and bring them to Me.." Gabriel and I gathered all the words and returned them to the Father. He took them from my hand and placed them in a cup. They were filled with life, swirling and moving about shining as liquid gold. He took the cup and poured the living words upon the earth. I said to the Father, "Father, before I leave this heavenly place, may I ask a question. I have come to understand that all the words ever spoken by Your Son were spoken before the foundations of the world. Why did he not speak in such a way that all men might be saved?" "My Son did speak in such a way that all men might be saved. He said. 'ALL men who believe in Me shall inherit eternal life. The invitation was for all men for all time. It is man himself who chooses whether he will come or not to the eternal Lord. The Word has been spoken. So be it." |
